Increased number of women, boys and girls having equitable access to HIV and AIDS prevention, care and support services; |
| • | Improved and effective collaboration and coordination between CIDA funded CSO's and government entities and between CSO's themselves and; |
| • | Improved capacity of supported SA organizations
to address gender equality issues in their
initiatives to implement the national HIV & AIDS
and STIs Strategic Plan. The Fund focuses on HIV and AIDS interventions that are implemented in six of the nine provinces of South Africa, namely: Limpopo, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, Free State and North West. However, an implementing organization can be based anywhere in South Africa. |

affected by HIV and AIDS, in pursuit of its
strategic goal, the Fund aims to reach
particularly vulnerable groups including orphans
